Ian Pitcairn began publishing The Newsletter of the Pitcairn Heritage Society in the early 1990's, with distribution assistance in the US from David & Deana Pitcairn Duncan. It is packed with fascinating stories of Pitcairns past. My hope is to "pdf" as many of these that I can find and post them here. Over the years a number of people have stepped in to help with the Newsletter either with writing stories or the laborious task of printing, folding, stapling, and mailing. Among those that come immediately to mind are John Wallace, husband of Rosie Pitcairn Wallace, of Shepperton; and Richard Pitcairn-Knowles, of Sevenoaks.
From 2006-2009 Richard
Pitcairn-Knowles served as Editor/printer/mailer and we owe him a sincere thanks for his dedication to the task. As Editor,
he has spent countless hours communicating with Pitcairns
the world over in the never-ending pursuit of content
worthy of your subscription. Proceeds go directly to
the Pitcairn Heritage Society to help support it's goals
