Bruce Pitcairn was born in Germantown Hospital on April 23rd, 1931.  His mother was Margaret Louise Pitcairn, daughter of Frank R. Pitcairn and in turn son of Robert Pitcairn of Pitcairn.

Bruce was taken to Seattle by his mother in l942 and grew up in Jazz music circles becoming a musician (piano) until he returned to the University of Washington (Seattle) to major in Art.  He`s been showing at galleries around the country since that time, about 30 years.

Now a resident in Beltown Seattle, he uses his Condo. as a painting studio and paints at this time for Art Not Terminal Gallery close by and enjoys good health and is still painting every day.
